Basically I told him I’m a TV major and the whole field just seems really aggressive and scary and it’s heartening to meet people like him and have them be genuinely kind and he said

“Well, it’s a choice, you know? You can choose to be grumpy or you can choose to be nice, so why not be nice? You’ll do good.”

And then we shook hands and wow he’s warm and comforting and I can’t believe that happened. I didn’t even cry when I met Stephen but for some reason I can’t stop crying now.
